How do I clean my platforms you ask? We got you boo! Here are out tips for keeping your platforms gorg. We are specialise in Demonia, New Rocks & Pleaser shoes - if you have a q about your shoes you can't find answered here, you know where we are!
☆ BABY WIPES
We love keeping a pair of baby wipes on hand - they are perfect for polishing up matte or patent shoes as well as getting dust out of cracks and seams. If you are going to try and use these on a fuzzy pair of platforms - just do a small inconspicuous test spot first. ALSO make sure the baby wipes are fragrance free!
☆ SARD STICK
Tread carefully with this one... however it has saved us with we went a bit too hard in our Camel 311's! Test a little spot on them & then carefully follow the instructions on the stick.
☆ ORANGE POWER
For those hard to move scuffs & sticky spots - pop a bit of Orange Power onto a cloth or paper towel and you've be amazed how easily they will lift off.
☆ LINT BRUSH
For our fluffy shoe enthusiasts - keep a lint brush on hand! Our fuzzy shoes can pick up link and bits of dust along the way (especially in black) so this is a quick & easy way to give them a refresh.
☆ SKEWERS
Sounds weird - but the amount of times we have used a skewer in our platforms hehe some of our platforms have very detailed soles - which means rock and things can lodge in there. Simply pry them out with a skewer and voila!
☆ PROTECTION
Try and keep your cuties out of dirt, puddles & rain (but we know this isn't always a possibility hehe) you might consider investing in a suede protection spray to ward off the elements.
☆ STORAGE
Don't keep your shoes in the car - the heat inside the car can get verryyyyy hot which can affect glue & finishes on your beautiful platforms! Try and store them in the box, with tissue paper stuffed into the toes. For tall shoes, we like to store them upright using rolled up newspaper (or pool noodles cut to size)
